AI for Teachers: This weeklong workshop, Crash Course in Artificial Intelligence, along with a Learning Material Design Session support high school educators.

AI Fusion: AI fusion is a system that can augment human activities and increase quality of life, safety, productivity and efficiency in meaningful, transformative ways.

Center for Informed Democracy and Social Cybersecurity (IDeaS): IDeaS seeks to enhance social-cybersecurity to preserve and support an informed democratic society through research, education and community-building in these social cybersystems.

Center for Innovation in Health (CIH): CIH aims to advance digital health research and technology through the development of AI and computational solutions, collaborative partnerships, and transfer of knowledge and methods.

Center for Machine Learning and Health (CMLH): CMLH unites world-class computer science, artificial intelligence and medical research from CMU and Pitt with clinical expertise and data from UPMC to facilitate innovation in digital health.

Center for Transformational Play (CTP): CTP uses the power of play to tackle educational, industrial and social challenges.

CMU CS Academy: CMU CS Academy aims to create an entirely free, universally accessible, online, interactive high school computer science curriculum.

DEI: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: DEI focuses on creating a climate in SCS that is diverse, inclusive and supportive of all stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, alumni and visitors.

ENAiBLE: ENAiBLE is a forum that supports retail and service industries through advances in service design, organizational change, robotics and automation, data analytics, and responsible artificial intelligence.

Embodied AI: Our goal is to create a community of researchers who understand how each of the components of Embodied AI interact with each other to create new technologies with novel applications.

Extended Reality Technology Center (XRTC): XRTC aims to boost research and development of augmented and virtual reality technologies, catalyzing their adoption in industry and society at large.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. AI Maker Space: The JPMorgan Chase & Co. AI Maker Space concentrates on software development. The space houses state-of-the-art hardware available to students, who also have access to associated software packages and massive datasets to pursue research.

Responsible AI: AI must be designed, developed and deployed responsibly to ensure accountability and transparency, and lead toward a more just and equitable world. 

WebAssembly (Wasm): Wasm has enabled a new, powerful class of web applications and languages. The WebAssembly Research Center at CMU supports the vision of Wasm as the next-generation universal execution platform.
