In 1965, the Carnegie Mellon University Computer Science Department was created. Since then, Carnegie Mellon has been the source for innovative technology that has led today’s pioneers of the industry.

The Computer Science Preservation Fund supports the creation and maintenance of an archive within SCS to preserve our endless contributions to computing history.
